Investor overview · October 2026
Most of the leads you buy have already been called by three or four other brokers
Onlyring is a product in development for Independent Car and Asset Finance Brokers.
The problem
Independent Car and Asset Finance Brokers
For independent car and asset finance brokers who buy leads to settle more loans every month — and are tired of racing other brokers to a phone number that's already gone cold.
- Nine times out of ten, a purchased lead has already been sold to someone else — you call, and they've already been called by other brokers.
- Other brokers are dialling the same enquiry within fifteen to twenty minutes, so by the time you get through, the conversation is already a rate war.
- Conversion on bought leads can collapse from around 30% down to around 5% as more brokers get sold the same list.
In their own words
Real quotes from the people who have this problem
90% had already been sold, so you would call, and they had already been called by others
conversion rates were around 30%, it was expensive but worth it. By the time I stopped, it was around 5%
they've probably done the same on half a dozen other platforms in the same 15, 20 minutes

Why now
What’s changed
- 01
ASIC's 2026 review found shortcomings in some lenders' oversight of brokers and dealers who sell their car loans, work it said is 'exposing consumers to harm' — raising the bar on how defensibly a broker can source a customer. ASIC ↗
- 02
Settlement volumes through Australia's largest asset finance aggregator fell from A$8.9 billion to A$8.4 billion in FY25, so every call wasted on a shared lead costs more in a flatter market. The Adviser ↗
- 03
Broker firms aggregating through that same network grew 7% in its most recent half-year results even as volumes fell, meaning more brokers are chasing a flatter pool of deals. The Adviser via Broker Daily ↗
The product
Onlyring
Onlyring is a live-transfer lead service: we run the ad, qualify the enquiry by phone, and connect the call straight to you while the customer is still on the line — so you're the only broker they've spoken to, not the fourth one dialling a number that's already been shared.
- 01
Tell us the loan types, vehicle types and credit profile you want — we run and pay for the ad campaign.
- 02
When someone enquires, we call them first and confirm loan amount, vehicle and credit situation.
- 03
We warm-transfer the live call straight to your phone — you pick up mid-conversation with a qualified, exclusive customer, and pay only once the transfer connects and holds.
Market size
TAM, SAM and SOM
- TAMTotal market
- A$43M a yearAbout 7,168 Australian asset/car finance brokers (the largest asset finance aggregator's 1,792 aggregated brokers ÷ its disclosed ~25% share of the asset finance broking and aggregation market) × an assumed A$6,000 a year each. The Adviser
- SAMServiceable market
- A$26M a yearAbout 60% of those brokers — roughly 4,300 — assumed to be independent brokers who source their own leads, rather than staff inside a captive dealer or franchise finance desk.
- SOMObtainable in 3 years
- A$520K a year2% of the serviceable market — about 86 brokers — within three years.
Sizes assume a working annual spend of A$6,000 per broker (about one live-transferred lead a week at the solution's ~A$115 midpoint price), which isn't validated yet, and that roughly 60% of brokers are independent enough to buy their own leads. The 2% share is an assumption, not a forecast.

What they use today, and where it falls short
| Today’s option | Lead is exclusive | Customer engaged before handoff | No ongoing ad-spend commitment | Pay only if it connects |

| Purchased shared/resold leadsThe same enquiry is resold to three to five brokers at once, so conversion collapses into a race and a rate war. | No | No | Yes | No |
| Exclusive but raw-number lead sellersStill just a phone number for a callback — the broker has to win the race to reach the customer before interest cools. | Yes | No | Yes | No |

Business model
Per connected-call lead, billed only once the transfer connects and holds for 30+ seconds
Priced above the roughly A$75 a broker already pays for an unconnected shared lead, in line with the premium live-transfer leads already command over shared leads in adjacent lead-generation verticals.

How we reach them
- NowThe founding-access page is live, with a Google search ad campaign built around car finance lead and broker enquiry searches.
- NextRun one small geo-targeted ad campaign ourselves and personally three-way-call-bridge the first leads to a handful of subscribed brokers, before building any telephony automation.
- LaterAutomate the call-bridging with telephony infrastructure and expand geo-targeting city by city as broker demand proves out.
